Project InformationThis was a very difficult project undertaken for a local businessman who is the managing director of local electrical contractors Contact electrical for a new American Themed Diner.

We installed 68 x 220mm diameter steel cased driven piles to a depth of 16 metres. We the installed all the associated ground beams which we had to construct in very difficult circumstances due to the tidal river which was beside the site.

At time we were working in 100mm of water at high tides everything was installed in peckafil formwork. When concreting the ground beams we had to de-water as we poured the concrete to leave the site ready for the next stage in the construction of the diner.
